Even though Honda is technically a Japanese-automaker, the majority of its new Honda models are produced right here in the U.S. Well, Germain Honda of Dublin is happy to report that another new Honda model is joining its American-made comrades, and it's one of our favorites: The Honda Civic Hybrid.
So, will this location shift compromise quality? Absolutely not; the same excellent Honda parts will be used for American-assembly of the Civic Hybrid as were used previously. And although we can't confirm a lower price, we wouldn't be surprised to see a slight adjustment for these locally-manufactured vehicles. You'll just have to stay tuned for that information.
The Honda Civic Hybrid is based on the same platform as its gasoline-powered counterpart, and it features the same exterior design, profile and build. Where it differs is in its fuel-efficiency. The Civic Hybrid utilizes hybrid technology (gas and electric), and is able to boast a remarkable EPA estimated rating of 44 mpg city and highway.*. Not to sell the traditional-fuel version short, the 2012 Honda Civic is able to achieve an impressive 28 mpg city and 39 mpg highway.*
And that's not all there is to love about the Honda Civic and Honda Civic Hybrid, but for more we recommend checking them out for yourself at Germain Honda of Dublin located at 6715 Sawmill Road Dublin, OH 43017.
