An Inside Look at the 2012 Honda Crosstour

Those of you who love the style and versatility of the Honda Accord Crosstour are in for a treat in the 2012 model year. Our favorite Japanese automaker has moved the Crosstour from being an offshoot of the Honda Accord to being its own model, the 2012 Honda Crosstour. What does this mean for the full-size hatchback? Quite a bit actually, which is why we here at Germain Honda of Dublin would like to take a minute to go over it with you.
First and foremost, there's the matter of fuel economy. The previous Honda Accord Crosstour featured a more powerful V6 engine, where as the in its 2012 model year, the Honda Crosstour features a more efficient 4-cylinder. This amounts to an extra two mpg city/three mpg highway. This addition might not seem like much at first, but those numbers add up to quite a bit when you do out the math in terms of a tank of gas.
Other improvements to the 2012 Honda Crosstour include auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear-view mirror backup display (on non-navigation models only), USB interface, Bluetooth, and auto headlamps. The new 2012 Honda Crosstour is available in two trims: EX and leather-upholstered EX-L.
