Competition is healthy. It forces companies to go above and beyond in order to win business, and that goes double in the automotive industry. That's why we here at Germain Honda of Dublin love to boast about the new Honda models that we know and love besting the competition time and time again.
The latest example of this? That would be a comparison of the Honda CR-V to its rival, the Nissan Rogue. In comparing the base 2012 Honda CR-V 2WD LX to the entry-level Rogue, we've found that there are quite a few features found in the Honda crossover that the Rogue is either forcing drivers to pay for as a 'premium add on' or not even offering at all.
For example, you'll have to pay for park assist in the Rogue, while it is standard fare in the CR-V. Meanwhile, the CD anti-theft system and Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure aren't even available in the Rogue... At all. And neither are the 60/40 Split folding rear seats, rear power outlet, cargo net and auto on/off headlights that the CR-V features.
And finally, our personal favorite - Nissan actually has the gall to make drivers pay for floor mats. Floors mats!
At the end of the day, the choice is clear. The Honda CR-V features more standard features, more available features, and more of, well... everything that you'd expect from a vehicle. Of course, we don't simply expect you to take our word for it. Come take the CR-V for a test drive today, simply by contacting us online or by phone at (877) 686-4527.
