As one of the few vehicles in its segment available with 8-passenger seating, the Pilot gives you spacious cargo capacity along with customizable seating configurations for enhanced comfort. Its luxurious interior and off-road performance capabilities help make it a hit with growing families or those living active lifestyles. Included as standard on all Pilot models, the Honda Sensing® collection of advanced safety and driver-assistive technologies helps inspire confidence behind the wheel. Available Satellite-Linked Navigation offers turn-by-turn guidance to help you arrive at your destination safely and on time. It’s also virtually effortless to access the cargo area of the Pilot even with your hands full of shopping bags thanks to the optional hands-free power-operated tailgate.

What the Critics Say

Honda has addressed several of the Pilot’s weaknesses directly in this redesign, with added passenger room and some pizazz with the exciting TrailSport. We’ll have to wait until we can put one through our testing process to see, but early indications are that it could give the Kia Telluride a push for the top spot in this class.” — Edmunds

Honda has been busy launching fresh HR-V, CR-V, Civic, and Accord generations. Now there’s the new Pilot midsize 3-row SUV. As well as their modernity, they all share another trait — bold new looks. The company’s latest design approach steers away from the anonymity of older models in favor of greater presence. On the Pilot, this makes itself apparent with the upright grille, large clamshell hood, and flared fenders..” — Kelley Blue Book

What’s New for 2025

For the 2025 model year, the popular Honda Pilot receives only two small changes to its proven formula. First, the previous base-level LX model has been discontinued, leaving the Sport trim as the new entry-level model in the Pilot model lineup. Similarly, shoppers will notice an all-new Pilot Black Edition model that now sits at the very top of the trim range. These variants feature exclusive blacked-out design cues both inside and out. Otherwise, the Honda Pilot returns essentially unchanged from last year’s version.

Honda Pilot Performance

Performance, Capabilities, and Styling

Now more adventurous and bold than previous generations, the exterior look of the Honda Pilot helps you make a statement both on and off the road. LED headlights, fog lights, and tail lights come standard across the entire Pilot trim range for exceptional visibility and a stylish exterior accent. In terms of performance, the Pilot comes standard with a muscular 285-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 and a responsive 10-speed automatic transmission for outstanding efficiency. Built for those with an endless thirst for adventure, Pilot TrailSport models are engineered to help you get out and take the path less traveled. Highlights of TrailSport trim levels include standard i-VTM4™ all-wheel drive with Trail Torque Logic, all-terrain tires, and an off-road-tuned suspension with a ride height increase of 1 inch.

Honda Pilot Interior

Luxurious Interior

Catering to the needs of those with growing families or active lifestyles, the upscale interior of the Honda Pilot features plenty of space for either 7 or 8 passengers. Placing an emphasis on everyday practicality, 8-passenger variants include an innovative removable second-row center seat that stows neatly beneath the rear cargo floor. Important controls and switches are placed near the driver on the horizontal dashboard of the Pilot. Its expansive center console can even fit two smartphones placed side-by-side along with your other essential items. Additional examples of useful features offered inside the Honda Pilot include heated/ventilated front seats, a panoramic moonroof, leather upholstery, and the cutting-edge CabinTalk™ communication system.

Honda Pilot Technology

Groundbreaking Technology

No matter if it’s a short trip across town or a long-distance road trip, the Honda Pilot offers cutting-edge tech features that make each mile more enjoyable. From the standard 7-inch to the available 9-inch color touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration means that all of your favorite apps and media are just a click away. An available Wi-Fi hotspot helps everyone stay connected while an available Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charger eliminates clutter from charging cables and wires. Choose the available 12-speaker Bose premium audio system to experience concert-like listening quality inside the Pilot. If you need directions to a new destination or simply need help finding your way back home, the available satellite-based navigation system provides turn-by-turn instructions inside the Honda Pilot.

Honda Pilot Safety

Advanced Safety

All Honda Pilot models now come standard with the groundbreaking Honda Sensing® suite of safety and driver-assistive features. Technologies included in this impressive collection are Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), and Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) with Forward Collision Warning. Other standard features include automatic high beams and a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera for increased confidence while backing out of a tight parking space.
