Honda Works Hard to Recover From Thailand Flooding

While much of the world's attention was recently on Japan following the massive earthquake and tsunami that the country endured, record flooding in Thailand recently presented Honda with another production setback. While we here at Germain Honda of Dublin are not thrilled to hear this news, we also know that the Big H is no stranger at this point to fighting back from a deck stacked against them.

Thus far, the damage from this latest disaster only amounts to about one-thousand damaged parts for models like the Honda Accord and Civic. While this is certainly nothing to scoff at, it is miniscule in comparison to the damage that the company endured in March, and a full recovery effort is already under way.

As for what this means for Honda dealerships like ours, located at 6715 Sawmill Road Dublin, OH 43017... Honda is saying that this could amount to some inventory shortages, but not nearly as bad as the ones experienced last year. In fact, the company is even predicting that we'll hardly notice the setback, and that they should return to full production by March of this year.

That said, we warmly invite you to check out our new Honda inventory online, then contact us online or by phone at (877) 686-4527 to arrange a test drive. Whether you're interested in financing or leasing a model like the Honda CR-V, Civic, or Ridgeline, we can help you get behind the wheel and keep driving it for years down the road, with the help of our dedicated Honda parts and service departments.
